Klay DeVries | principal

Klay DeVries held executive management positions in advertising, interactive marketing and publishing for more than 20 years before hanging out his own consulting shingle in 2005. He founded Pilcrow Partners with Tom Schooley in January 2009.

Klay has worked primarily in the interactive arena since 1996. He has developed digital strategies and planned Web initiatives for Hazelden Foundation, Minneapolis Community & Technical College, StayWell Health Management, EarthEcho International, Portico Benefit Services, Holiday Stores, Arctic Cat, Buffalo Wild Wings, Caribou Coffee, Golf Galaxy and MasterCraft Boats.

Outside the office, Klay volunteers as a mentor at a men’s correctional facility, plays a little jazz piano and golfs (often poorly). He and his wife enjoy entertaining family and friends at the lake and walking their beagle.
